One of the greatest benefits of working with Steve, is his historical knowledge of the practices of the Nevada Real Estate Division and rulings of the Nevada Real Estate Commission. Steve has assisted me in many cases by explaining how the Commission has ruled in the past, and by providing me with specific examples. His knowledge comes not only from his regular attendance at Commission Meetings and from paying close attention to the disciplinary hearings over the past 14 years, but also from his grasp and understanding of Nevada real estate laws and regulations.  His participation has contributed directly to clients obtaining more positive outcomes.

“I was in a situation where I needed help in defending myself against a very serious Real Estate Division complaint filed by a former client. One of my friends gave me Steven’s number and I called him right away. He was quick to respond and we met the following day. Steven’s pricing as a paralegal was far more affordable than that of a lawyer. His knowledge on this matter was extraordinary. We worked together on my case for several hours over the course of a couple of days. We worked quickly and efficiently. No waste of time or money. Several months later, the case was dismissed. It was a very stressful situation. Steven was a huge help. I can’t thank him enough. I highly recommend his services.”

“I received a notice of a violation from the Nevada Real Estate Division. I made several major oversights on  documents and I was in the wrong.  I was in panic mode! I didn’t know what to do.  After 23 years and no complaints, I thought I might lose my license because of a few stupid mistakes.  However, I remembered an e-flyer I got a while back from Steven stating he may be able to help real estate licensees with Nevada Real Estate Division complaints. I called him immediately. I told him everything that happened. He calmed me down and told me what he thought my best and worst case scenarios would be. We met the next day and went over the file. A couple days later, we met again and he helped me with my response to the Division. My response was professional.  Steven mentioned things that I would have NEVER put in my response without his help. I would have been in a defensive mode in my response.   But, because of Steven’s advice I did the opposite.  He even hand carried my response to the investigator and had a conversation with them about it.

A couple weeks later, I received a letter from the Division stating that I would owe a small administrative fine!  I am so grateful for Steven’s help with this. I believe if he did not help me my punishment would have been far more severe.  I HIGHLY recommend Steven Kitnick to anyone that has a Nevada Real Estate Division complaint filed against them.”

I had a Nevada Real Estate Division complaint filed against. I made a really bad choice and admitted fault. I’ve taken Steven’s continuing education classes and I recalled he also consults with agents, brokers, and attorneys on administrative complaints. I contacted Steven less than two weeks before I was to appear at the Nevada Real Estate Commission Hearings. He assisted in obtaining an extremely favorable proposed negotiated settlement with the NRED through the Attorney General’s Office who was representing the NRED in my case. However, I still had to appear at the Hearing because the Commission has to approve the settlement. They don’t just “rubber stamp” proposed settlements even though the NRED and a Respondent have agreed to settlement terms.  Steven prepared me for various scenarios. We even had a Zoom meeting to help put me at ease. Steven explained the entire process and let me know what I could expect. This helped to alleviate a lot of anxiety. He advised me and helped me in the preparation of my statement to the Commission. I felt I made the right choice by choosing Steven to help me. Thankfully, the Commission, after discussion and deliberation, accepted the negotiated settlement on a 5-0 vote. Steven is very knowledgeable on how to handle complaints. If it wasn’t for him I would have been lost. I highly recommend him for both his CE classes and for advice on real estate division complaints.

P.S. I am also thankful to the Nevada Real Estate Division, Nevada Real Estate Commission, and the Attorney General’s Office for understanding and empathizing with the circumstances that led to my poor judgment.
